Sim.One with v.1.4 will exit from experimental/research stage

With v.1.4 version of the hardware Sim.One will exit form the experimental and research stage to go in sale to the public. Never like this time we can say, it's finished when it's finished because we didn't had a release schedule until now and the beta of the hardware was done for a restrict group of developers.

After internal and public debate we are proud to present the guideline for Sim.One in v.1.4 that will arrive this winter to be available to all.

Improvements:

- Console and JTAG can be connected to PC thru a single mini USB cable.
- New Add-in connectors, 2 x 40 pin female headers(the same used on PC104) to allow easy stacking of additional boards, with all the Processor peripherals available ( SPI. I2C, ADC, PWM etc.)

What the main board will lose:

- VGA
- Audio
- SDCard connector
- one 40 pin connector (JP9)

Planned Modules:

- Module with two Serial I/O, with one selectable RS232/RS485
- Module with Audio and Electronics to drive 4.3'' PSP 1000 LCD

The SDCard socket will be reaplaced from a dedicated USB reader, nano size, for this reason all the tree USB will be available onboard (in v.1.3 only two USB are present).

Thank you for all of you that have contributed to this project.
